Sometimes we receive questions about the sustainability and origin of our materials. We would like to explain how we run bofb in a responsible and environmentally conscious manner.

All our jewelry is handmade in our own studio with love, care, and, of course, from responsibily sourced materials. We work with recycled precious metals, Eco Gold, and Fair Trade gold, contributing to fair trade practices and environmentally friendly mining. Additionally, we exclusively use Conflict-Free Diamonds. In many cases, it is also possible to bring in jewelry you may still have lying around, but no longer wear. We gladly transform old jewelry, whether or not it holds sentimental value, into a new, stunning piece for you. Feel free to contact us to explore the possibilities. We always work on our jewelry with care and a with joy. We also make an effort to minimize our overall ecological footprint. We power our studio (and our car) with clean energy generated by solar panels, and we use green energy to keep the store running. We use energy-efficient LED lighting in both our studio and the store, and the envelopes we use are FSC-certified, indicating they come from sustainably managed forests. We avoid the use of single-use plastics and opt for recycled materials for gift packaging and jewelry boxes. We hope you will continue to enjoy using these boxes and bags at home for years to come! With these steps, we aim to combine our love for jewelry with a positive impact on the environment.
